Todd and Melissa will guide you through sixteen exercises that will bring you closer to each other, teach you how to handle conflict, practice more intimacy in your marriage, grow closer through prayer, learn how to handle you finances better and build a vision for your marriage.
Todd and Melissa are committed to each other and making their marriage the focal point of their lives. They come to the idea of marriage as a covenant between them and God. While no marriage on earth is perfect, Todd and Melissa believe if you take the time to connect with purpose, your marriage will be the most fulfilling. When they got married they agreed the word divorce would not be part of their vocabulary. And it hasn't been, it hasn't allows been perfect, but their marriage has been fulfilling. They plan, propose, play and do things on purpose in order to make marriage all it was intended to be. If you want a marriage that is honest, transparent and on a purposeful path, Purposeful Marriage is for you.
This course was originally presented as a three day encounter in Gryfow Slaski, Poland. It has been adapted for you to use at home, in a hotel or our favorite: at a campsite in our RV. Your Instructor
We are international Marriage Encounter presenters. Melissa has been a teacher for over twenty years while raising four children. In addition she was a youth minister, along with Todd, for almost ten years. Todd has been a teacher, pastor, youth pastor, youth probational officer and professional baseball umpire. He is certified Prepare-Enrich facilitator and performs several weddings a year.
They are are avid readers, golfers, RV'ers and ardent Denver Bronco fans. Sundays find them surrounded by their family cheering on the Broncos and eating great food they prepare. Summers find them traveling from Yellowstone to Poland and all places in between. One summer found them holed up in their RV after moving out of their house and storing everything they owned. No matter where you find them, you will almost always find them together.
The next adventure God is calling us to is Marriage Ministry. We love being married to each other and through much trial and error have come to grips with this simple fact: Marriage Ain’t Easy, but it is Worth It!
